Dear Tracy,

hopefully, you do remember me. We met at GenCon 2000, I think it was in 1999 that I won a price suggesting ways to kill characters for your Killer Breakfast. You were asking, back then, what I'd like as a prize, and when I asked you if you could read my novel, you agreed. After a whole lot of years I'm finally getting to the point where the first book is done. It took many many rewrites.

So, now I would like you to read it.

Sincerely
Ulff Lehmann
